Adeyemi Talks Up Barca Move

Red Bull Salzburg starlet, Karim Adeyemi, has talked up a potential move to Barcelona in the future, but his agent warns that there is no chance of the striker heading to Camp Nou anytime soon.

The 19-year-old is among the hottest prospects in world football after mimicking Erling Haaland and tearing it up for Salzburg, and 90min understands almost every European giant is keeping a very close eye on Adeyemi.

Barcelona is one of those sides, and Adeyemi definitely teased the Blaugrana faithful at Monday’s Golden Boy ceremony.

“Barcelona are among the best clubs in the world and I feel proud to know they want me,” he said (via Toni Juanmarti).

“Barça in my future? Of course [a move could be possible]. It’s a top club and if I decide to switch at some point, it could be a chance.”

As 90min reported earlier this month, Adeyemi is angling for a return to the Bundesliga and is being heavily pursued by Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, although a switch to the latter is not currently on the cards.

Leipzig’s poor form this season – they just sacked manager Jesse Marsch after falling to seventh in the Bundesliga table – has worried Adeyemi, who would prefer to head to one of Dortmund or former club Bayern.
