Aston Villa loan star, Philippe Coutinho is willing to take a pay cut to secure his future at the club.
The Brazilian is on loan for the second half of this season at the Premier League club from Barcelona.
Given Coutinho is not wanted at Barca, and he is enjoying playing at Villa for old teammate Steven Gerrard, Ekrem Konur states he wants to make the move permanent.
That means the 29-year-old attacking midfielder would have to take a significant cut on his current Barcelona salary.
Villa can secure Coutinho from Barca for a €40 million option clause, which is a part of the loan agreement.
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has also been considering a move for the former Liverpool man.
