Super Eagles goaltender, Maduka Okoye, has moved on after his shambolic African Cup of Nations outing in Cameroon.
Okoye, who was between the sticks in Nigeria 0-1 loss to Tunisia in the Round of 16 at the ongoing tournament, hinted this on his verified Instagram field.
Having conceded a ridiculous goal that caused Super Eagles’ shock exit, the Sparta Rotterdam of Holland goalkeeper has so far received critics and death threat from soccer loving Nigerians.
Expressing his current mood, Okoye, 22, hinted he has put behind the bitter experience by flaunting an image of himself in club training ground. He however captioned the image with the word ” Good to be back.”
The goalie is primed to feature in weekend Dutch league outing against host, Feyenoord. He will also be keeping fingers crossed for next month’s FIFA World Cup qualifier playoff against Ghana.
