Water Football Club of Abuja has disclosed its interest in scouting and screening young talents capable of promoting the game of soccer to global stage.
The fast rising club whose product featured for Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, has beamed its searchlight on lads in Makurdi, Abuja, Portharcourt, Lagos and other parts of the country.
Water FC in a statement via club proprietor Makanjuola Nureni, further disclosed interested starlets should assemble by7:00am at FIFA Goal Project Park B, National Stadium, Abuja.
The three days exercise, scheduled for 12th-14th of January, will see selected players jet to Belgium, Spain, France, Denmark and Sweden for greener pasture.
Similarly, the outfit aiming to feature in next season’s Nigeria league, outlined requirement stating all players must not be attached to any club or agent and must also be within an age range of 13 to 24.
The club has produced notable players like Babatunde Michael who made it to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the trio of Success Makanjuola, Emeka Chinonzo and Emeka Chinonzo all ply there trade at the U20 level while former U-17 star, Makanjuola Abeeb and CHAN Super Eagles star boy, Okechukwu Gabriel all passed through the outfit.
