Taiwo Awoniyi, Samuel Chukwueze and Maduka Okoye have been listed for tonight’s Round of 16 Africa Cup of Nations clash against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
The players missed Nigeria’s final group game against Guinea-Bissau which the Austin Eguavoen lads won resoundingly by three goals to one.
Maduka Okoye takes his place in goal and will get cover from Ola Aina, Kenneth Omeruo, William Troost-Ekong and Zaidu Sanusi.
Leicester City’s midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, Joe Aribo, Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze are assigned the midfield role while Kelechi Iheanacho, Awoniyi lead Super Eagles attack.
The substitutes for tonight’s game are; Daniel Akpeyi, Francis Uzoho, Peter Olayinka, Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Nwakali, Sadiq Umar, Henry Onyekuru, Ahmed Musa, Frank Onyeka, Chidozie Awaziem, Semi Ajayi and Jamilu Collins.
The tie is slated to kick off at 8pm at the Roumbe Adija Stadium, Garoua.
