Mbappé Matches Ibrahimovic, Cavani Records

After scoring a double in the 2-0 win over Monaco on Sunday, Kylian Mbappé now has 100 goals in Ligue 1 Uber Eats with PSG. Where does he sit vis-à-vis other scorers in club history? Key stats.

It was a curious twist of fate that, by scoring a double against AS Monaco, the club whose youth academy he graduated from, Kylian Mbappé hit the portentous mark of 100 Ligue 1 Uber Eats goals for PSG on Sunday.

The Parisian striker started by scoring a penalty before firing a lovely right-footed strike past Alexander Nübel – his eighth and ninth league goals of the season. Kylian Mbappé has only needed 124 Ligue 1 Uber Eats games with PSG to score 100 goals, and it was from his 456th shot for Paris (the 233rd on target) that he hit the 100-goal mark.

At almost 23 years old, Mbappé is the youngest player to score 100 goals with the same team in Ligue 1 Uber Eats since 1950. In the history of PSG, Kylian Mbappé is just the third player to achieve this performance, following in the considerable footsteps of Edinson Cavani (138), the club’s all-time top scorer and Mbappé’s teammate between 2017 and 2020, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (113).
