The Youngest Nigerian Scorer Ever In The History Of The Premier League 'Anichebe'

Aged 18 years and 14 days, Victor Anichebe became the youngest Nigerian goalscorer ever in the history of the Premier League.

He achieved this feat during Everton’s 2-2 draw versus West Bromwich Albion on May 7, 2006.

With the Baggies leading 2-0 at Goodison Park courtesy of Hungarian forward Zoltan Gera and Williams Martinez, David Moyes brought in Anichebe for Kevin Kilbane.

And it was the striker who inspired the Toffees’ comeback with his 84th-minute effort before Duncan Ferguson leveled matters in the 90th minute.
