Pep Guardiola's side are closing in on reclaiming their league crown from Liverpool and could yet add the Champions League trophy to their Carabao Cup silverware.
Here, we detail the Premier League permutations and mark the key dates in the Champions League as the 2020/21 campaign reaches crunch time...
Premier League: City two wins from glory
Manchester United could have cut Manchester City's lead at the top to eight points with five games to go but their stalemate at Leeds means City are 10 points clear.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side can only now get a maximum of 82 points if they win all their remaining fixtures.
City's vastly superior goal difference means that five points would effectively secure the title but six - or two wins - will seal it.
If Guardiola's side beat Crystal Palace on May 1, victory at home to Chelsea on May 8 - live on Sky Sports - would secure them the title.
If they slipped up - and Manchester United won their next two at home to Liverpool and away to Aston Villa, the game at Newcastle on May 12 could be decisive.
Premier League: Sunday could be the day
Manchester City's need for two more wins assumes that Manchester United will continue to win - but if they are beaten by old rivals Liverpool on Sunday that changes.
If City beat Palace then a United defeat to Liverpool would see Guardiola's men regain the Premier League trophy because 80 points would be mathematically beyond Solskjaer's side.
There will be no Centurions repeat this season but Guardiola will hope to see his side get as close as possible to the maximum 92 points that their remaining games afford.
Carabao Cup: Four in a row
Before any Premier League coronation, City have added another Carabao Cup trophy to their crowded cabinet.
Aymeric Laporte headed a late winner at Wembley as City beat Tottenham 1-0 in a game they dominated.
City have exited the Champions League at the quarter-final stage for the past three seasons but they finally broke their hoodoo under Guardiola with a 4-2 aggregate win over Borussia Dortmund.
City now face another heavyweight opponent in Paris Saint-Germain for a place in the final, with the semi-final first leg set for April 28 and the decider on May 4.
City will be desperate to line up at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on May 29.
